Georgia Foster, CSM, DCH

Georgia Foster is from Melbourne, Australia. She has lived in London since 1994 where she qualified with distinction as a clinical hypnotherapist with the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. She then went on to lecture on the subject of hypnotherapy - training students all over the United Kingdom for a further 2 years.
Georgia now spends her time working in her clinic and running her own programmes such as:
Believing in YOU!™ a 2-day self esteem program that changes negative self opinions and creates positive ones so the participant can learn to like themselves and interact with the outside world more confidently.
The Weight Less Mind™ is a 2-day or 8-week programme and book that deals with underlying reasons for overeating and weight gain. Participants learn why they eat rather than what they eat. Georgia believes food is the symptom, not the cause of being overweight.
The Drink Less Mind™ is a book and one day workshop that deals with the reasons why people consume more alcohol than they truly want to. Drinking too much for a lot of people has become a habit. Georgia believes there are a number of important factors that need to be addressed in order for habitual and binge drinking to be reduced; these include stress, anxiety, social under confidence, fear of intimacy just to name a few.
The Foster Technique™ is a corporate training program that utilises many different subjects such as procrastination, negative thinking, improved confidence, clarity and creativity. There are many subjects to choose from depending on the company needs.
Georgia previously trained in California in the Jungian psychology called Voice Dialogue with the internationally acclaimed founders Hal and Sidra Stone.
Georgia herself having struggled with food and self esteem issues for over 16 years, searched to find a way to break out of these emotional states. Using her own form of Voice Dialogue and hypnotherapy changed her life. She walks her talk.
Georgia has two very busy private practices in the City of London and West London, where she treats anything from smoking, anxiety disorders, phobias, insomnia and pain control. Georgia works with a number of Investment Banks and Insurance Companies as their in-house hypnotherapist.
Some of the media coverage on Georgia's work in the UK includes The Sunday Times, Zest Magazine, Health & Fitness, Harpers & Queen, the Evening Standard, Daily Mail, Slimmers Magazine - just to name a few. Please click here to view recent articles.
