Ken Silvestri, EdD

Dr. Kenneth Silvestri is a psychotherapist, a certified classical homeopath (CCH, Council for Homeopathic Certification ) and is a Registered Homeopath with the North American Society of Homeopaths (RS Hom). He has had a private practice since 1980 and offers a unique integrative and systemic approach to resolving emotional and physical problems.
His doctorate is in anthropology and psychology from Columbia University. He has studied at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy, the Family Institute of NJ, the Renaissance Institute of Classical Homeopathy (formerly the New School of Homeopathy) with Dr. Luc De Schepper and with David Little through his three year homeopathic course. In addition he is a N.J. State Licensed Family Therapist and has had national fellowships with the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Chicago.
Dr. Silvestri taught and was a school administrator at the public school level. He was a former adjunct professor at Montclair State University and currently teaches graduate courses at the College of Saint Elizabeth.
Dr. Silvestri has published over fifty articles and conducted numerous workshops on family therapy, alternative education, communication skills and homeopathy. He is an AAMFT clinical member, approved supervisor and an active black belt student of Aikido. Dr. Silvestri is also an associate with the Center For Forgiveness Education and Open Ki Solutions which offers management consulting and training in conflict resolution and organizational healing based on the principles of Aikido.
