Alexandra Chaliff, MS, MP

Alexandra Chalif, MS, MP

Washington, Connecticut. She has a Master in Science in Psychology as well as one in Learning Disabilities. She is a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and was a student of Richard Bandler, Phd, one of the NLP founders, and Robert Dilts, PhD. She has worked extensively using improvisational drama with groups of troubled children at Harvard University. She is Director of Research and Development for Simon & Shuster, Inc. for a special project involving the use of Improvisational Drama as a tool for change with groups and individuals. She is a member of the Harvard Medical School Postgraduate Association. She mainstains a private practice within a hospital setting and regularly accompanies her patients into the operating room during surgical procedures.

Knoxville, Tennessee. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Advance Practice Nurse, Board Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Master Instructor of Hypnosis, Fellow National Council for Hypnotherapy (United Kingdom). Owner and CEO of Healthy Visions Hypnosis Center, Clinton, Tennessee. Nominated by the Department of the Navy to represent the Department of Defense as an ex-officio member to the National Institutes of Health’s Health Service’s Committee on Complementary and Alternative Medicine. He is the National Guild of Hypnotists’ receiver of the Researcher of the Year. He lectures extensively to medical and nursing organizations on hypnosis, stress management, anesthesia, HIV/AIDS, and Bioterrorism. He lectures regularly at many nursing conferences throughout the United States.

Houston, Texas. A licensed psychologist in private practice and co-director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Houston. She is an Approved Supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a member of the American Psychological Association, and an Approved Consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She is the author or co-author of three books: Brain Change Therapy: Clinical Interventions for Self-Transformation, The Couple’s Hypnotic Dance: Creating Ericksonian Strategies in Marital Therapy, and Enchanting Children (Skills for Parents and Health-Care Professionals)

Roger Moore, PhD

Seattle, Washington. BA in Criminal Justice. Masters in Applied Counseling in Psychology and PhD in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Experienced working with developmentally disabled children. Former Executive Director of Forestview Community Homes, Inc., a residential program for developmentally disabled children and adults. Involved in a counseling program offered throughout southern California. He specializes in relationship counseling and sports performance. He teaches hypnotherapy and regularly speaks at numerous international hypnotherapy conferences. He is the author of Becoming Slender for Life, Self-Hypnosis Makes the Difference.

Erik Peper PhD

Erik Peper, PhD

San Francisco, California. Professor at the Institute of Holistic Health Studies, San Francisco State University. He earned his BA from Harvard University and his PhD in Psychology form Union Graduate Institute. He is the president of the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe and past president of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback. He is an international authority on biofeedback and self-regulation. He frequently contributes blog articles on where he shares his ideas on illness, health, and well-being. He is the co-author of several books, which include Fighting Cancer: A Nontoxic Approach to Treatment, Biofeedback Mastery: An Experiential Teaching and Self-Training Manual, and Make Health Happen: Training Yourself to Create Wellness.

William Wade, LPC

Houston, Texas. Psychotherapist at the Institute of Family Psychology and co-director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Houston. He is a Marriage and Family Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychiatry and Religion. He is a clinical member and Approved Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and an Approved Consultant with the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He is also a member of the International Society of Hypnosis and The American Counseling Association. He has trained therapists on topics such as clinical hypnosis, meditation, anxiety, depression, panic disorder, relationship enhancement, divorce recovery, parenting, and peak performance. He is the former editor of the Milton Erickson Foundation Newsletter. He is the co-author of Brain Change Therapy: Clinical Interventions for Self-Transformation.
